Cookie policy

1. What we use

• Essential browser storage (localStorage) to remember your cookie-consent choice — not a tracking cookie, and it does not identify you across sites.
• Our own visit counter on our server, with no cookies and without storing your IP address: it records anonymous events (e.g. a page view, scrolling, a click). To link the events of one visit it uses a random identifier in the browser’s session storage (sessionStorage), which disappears when you close the tab; it does not identify you on other sites.
• Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) — only after your consent (the “Accept” button in the banner). Only then does the Google script load and set the cookies _ga and _ga_ENGL9JCSG0 (valid for up to 14 months); Google keeps the statistics for 14 months. Without consent no request is sent to Google. Google signals and ad personalisation are off.

2. What we do NOT use

• No Google reCAPTCHA (we use a honeypot + server-side rate-limit instead).
• No advertising pixels or marketing cookies.
• We never sell or share data with brokers.

3. Consent

The Google Analytics script does not load without your consent. You can change your choice at any time: the “Cookie settings” button in the footer of every page reopens the banner. Clicking “Reject” withdraws consent — we switch Google Analytics off, delete the _ga and _ga_ENGL9JCSG0 cookies and send nothing more to Google.

4. Managing storage

You can clear browser storage in your browser settings at any time.
